At the Kari Motor Speedway, endurance racing came to life with riders sprinting across the track in full leather, jumping on their bikes as teammates hold them ready to go. This time, the thrill was amplified by Suzuki’s new, race-spec Gixxer SF 250. While this track-only machine isn’t for sale, it offered a fascinating glimpse into how the road-going SF 250 transforms for the circuit.
The race-ready SF 250 sheds nearly 20kg through careful removal of non-essential parts like lights, grab rails, and the stock exhaust, while retaining its stock bodywork. Experiencing these changes firsthand highlighted just how accessible Suzuki’s one-make series continues to make competitive circuit racing in India.
