Before sunrise, we set out from Khopoli, bound for Goa and the 2019 India Bike Week. The journey of roughly 80 kilometres from Mumbai might have seemed trivial, but with plenty of filming ahead, it was the perfect opportunity to experience four culturally iconic Harleys. The bikes – a Street Rod 750, Iron 883, Fat Bob, and the Road King – each offered a distinct flavor of Harley-Davidson’s heritage. Riding to the IBW on these motorcycles made the Great Migration come alive, highlighting not just Harley’s mechanical prowess, but also its role in shaping motorcycling culture in India.
